Founders

Venky and Satish started Shift Left Ventures to not just invest capital in pre-seed companies but to also help the founders build their MVP product. Founded by a team of industry experts and entrepreneurs, we understand the unique challenges faced by early-stage startups and are dedicated to helping them overcome these obstacles.

Venky Karnam
Founder, Shift Left Ventures
Venky was a Venture Partner at Afore Capital before starting SLV. An engineer by training, he was a founding engineer at AdMob. AdMob was acquired by Google for $750M. He has successfully invested in over 30 companies including unicorns like Meesho, Groww, Iterable, and Clear Tax.

Satish Madhira
Founder, Shift Left Ventures
Satish is a 3x entrepreneur whose very first company — YASU Technologies — was successfully acquired by SAP. After integrating YASU with SAP, he joined TVS Capital, where he focussed on investments in Indian technology companies. He then went on to found Dealivore - a group buying platform - which competed with companies like Snapdeal and Groupon. He is also the founder and CEO of Zemoso Labs.
